Algebra 1-2 is simple compared to Algebra 3-4. Algebra 1-2 is taught by Mr. Butenhoff and in this class you don't have to remember a lot fo equations or how to graph a lot of equations. All you need to know that Mr. Butenhoff recommends to know is to learn how to find the X and Y intercept and how to plot them on a graph, as well as knowing where they are on a graph. You also need to know how to square numbers by like 2, 3 and maybe even more than that. It is also helpful to know how to square root numbers and to know how to solve basic equations that are based off y=mx+b. You will also need to understand how to do box plots and how learn how to do box and diamond. Box and diamond is a way to simplify an equation that is in standard form into a factored from.
