My Algebra tips will have all the tips I found helpful to do good in Algebra. There are many things you should know but the most important are the basic equations and to know how to graph an equation. You should also know how to graph basic points and learn how to find the y-intercept and x-intercept. The X-intercept will be (X,0) and then the y-intercept is (0,Y). It is also important to know how to solve for X if they give you two equations. You will just make both equations equal each other and then solve for X. The image below will show you an example of how to do it.

Equations:

  • y=mx+b
  • f(x)= X^3
  • f(x)= X^2
  • y= a(x-h)+k
